Got Bad Breath?
Maybe. Who’s
going to tell you? Your partner? Date? Boss? Coworker?
Bad
breath and periodontal disease are caused by the excrement or waste from
bacteria. All bacteria (both good and bad) produce rapidly and exponentially.
Each missed spot after you brush your teeth can contain a few 100,000
organisms which double their population
every hour. By the end of the day, you have more bacteria in your mouth
than there are people on the planet earth!
The
bacteria causing problems live in the absence of air – between teeth,
under bridges and orthodontic appliances – where a toothbrush can’t
reach. The
American Dental Association (ADA) recommends brushing teeth twice a day
and flossing once a day to control bacteria and plaque. Unfortunately,
according to an ADA
survey, only 5% of adults floss daily. However, within those 5% of people
who do floss, The Journal of Clinical Periodontology reported that only
18 – 35% of the plaque between their teeth is actually removed.
So, what do you think – got bad breath?
Air
Force Inc announces the launch of dental air force, the first and only product of its kind that
replaces both tooth brushing and flossing. The brushless electrical
appliance uses a precision jet of air, water and dental cleaner. It power
washes teeth, between teeth and along the gum line to remove 62.5% more
plaque between teeth than the leading power toothbrush. You can use the
system with hydrogen peroxide and get the added benefit of whitening your
teeth.
Traditional tooth brushing causes toothbrush
abrasion along the gum line and sensitivity to hot and cold. “My
orthodontist encouraged me to purchase dental air force because of
my excessive brushing and it would be the best way to clean my braces.
Within two weeks of using the dental air force my acrylic braces
were white as snow! In such a short time my teeth are cleaner and
brighter,” says Susan La Fontaine, housewife, mother, and patient of
Orthodontist Dan George.
“We’re very excited about offering to the
consumer, who is serious about maintaining excellent oral health,
technology that we progressive dental professionals use on our patients
in the office”, says Dr. Piero (the inventor, practicing dentist, and
holder of twelve patents).
The new technology has undergone clinical
studies, been tested by independent dentists and laboratories, and been
approved for marketing by the FDA.
